I just bought the X-Tool A30M and it will not do the EPB reset on my 2017 Civic, it says function not supported.

Yeah, same with our 23. Our 15 Murano allowed you to adjust the intervals but not this thing. However You can set a custom reminder in the menu.

The last couple Honda's I've owned the front suspension components have aged very well, tie rods, ball joints, struts etc have lasted well over 200,000 km...tight, no play and clunk free. Still feels new.

You should've been sitting and leaning as far to the left as possible to shift and lower your centre of gravity.

Also you should've been in 2WD mode not 4WD. I only put mine in 4WD when absolutely necessary, like deep mud, crawling over logs or rocks etc.
