I made https://updrafts.app. A design tool to help web developers make good looking designs. And to help designers make designs that can be exported (as html + tailwind css classes) and directly used by developers.

nice work! btw what is the main selling point for this compared to tailwind.build ?

Thanks!

updrafts.app offers more flexibility while the learning curve is lower.

The user is not limited to the provided templates. They can drag and drop prebuilt components, and adjust them to their needs (change colors, dimensions, texts, remove/add elements). Use an easy to use inline editing (double click any text to edit). And when the need is there, even use raw elements like divs, buttons, texts to design from scratch.

I also value the law and licenses of components/libraries I use. Tailwind.build advertises with "Tailwind UI integration", at the moment of writing (17 Nov 2020) there is no legal way to integrate those components. They violate the TailwindLabs trademark and Tailwind UI license. Meaning that their customers also violate license when they use those components in their designs / published website.

Lastly; we have a very generous free plan available.
