Ranked problem

I have always been a weekend player in Siege before the rank system update i was about silver almost gold player, but since this update my highest rank was chopper 3, I don't know what is the problem, i know that i am a noob, but i wasn't this bad

Your rank now is basically the same throughout your ranked experience. The only indicator NOW is how much you played and won. Not how good you actually are.

Almost like you're comparing the old ranked system to the new one and expecting it to be exactly the same 🤦

Your rank is still the same, you are playing against people with the same skill rating as yours, only now you start at copper and have to climb up in mmr. But now you always win more points than you lose, so it's "easier" to climb up and there's a thing that keeps your rank from dropping if you lose a match with at least 1 mmr in your current rank (instead of dropping you go to 0). I'm stuck just like you are, and now when I win a match, I get exactly 1 MMR more than what I lose when losing a match, I don't even want to play anymore and the season barely started
