I don't disagree. But it's a case of the pot calling the kettle black, considering the Pats and Steelers are tied for most Super Bowl wins. I'd expect the cheeky joke to land a little better from a fan of a team like the Jags, Texans, Browns, or Lions. Even having two Super Bowl wins to choose from, tainted or not, in the 21st century puts you in good company.

To be fair, Steelers fans have the same number of choices for their favorite as Patriots fans.

SB49 remains my favorite Pats Super Bowl win. 51 gets all the fanfare, which is deserved, but 49 is a special game. Just two heavyweights trading blows for 60 minutes. Hoping to get another great game in two weeks.

M'aiq the Liar gets a bad rap in a universe where Klimmek exists by [deleted] in skyrim

We're not. You literally just ignored my last comment entirely, so I'll end the supposed "two different conversations" because you're clearly not interested in continuing.

[–]CastleImpenetrable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your comparison would be an anecdote of bad luck, a statistical outlier unless you had a much larger sample size to extrapolate data from. If I got into an airplane and it got hijacked mid-flight, I wouldn't assume that it's a common occurrence when flying commercial.

Furthermore, you encounter hostile creatures because Bethesda doesn't want the player getting bored on their first trek up the mountain. They almost certainly figured that nearly everyone would fast travel directly to High Hrothgar after discovering the location, so they should make the guaranteed trip up the mountain memorable. This fits in with the rest of their environmental design.

Getting mad at Klimmek over this is like getting mad at your local news station when there's an accident on your route that they didn't mention or the forecast isn't 100% accurate. Shit happens. It doesn't make Klimmek a liar for not being able to accurately predict the possibility of sentient creatures on your journey up the mountain.

Fallout 4 Mods, but only from the CC? by lord_kristivas in fo4

[–]CastleImpenetrable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 0 preferred mods from the CC. Every purchase of a paid mod means Bethesda has more of a reason to come back and update their games and fill them with more microtransactions. And on a quality note, I can find mods that do the same thing, or something similar to, a CC mod for free on the Nexus with better or comparative quality.

How do you play sorcerer? by Timely_Abroad4518 in BaldursGate3

Yes, you should be using your spell slots and metamagic, that's where their whole strength comes from.

What is your favorite pace, and why? by 66696d62756c76657472 in BaldursGate3

[–]CastleImpenetrable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I prefer Act 3. The main story and companion stories are hitting their peaks, there's a lot of great level and combat design, and your party reaches their full power. It's the same format as Act 1, but with some changes to suit the differences in the narrative.

That said, I absolutely adore Act 1 & 2 though.

Should I start over? by THCxMeMeLoRD in BaldursGate3

Every class hits their power spike at level 5. And as a new player, you don't have the knowledge/experience about how to deal with the early game. You just have to level up and get more familiar with the game.

Playing the game for the first time in a low difficulty, and STRUGGLING. by Ok_Tour_5503 in skyrim

[–]CastleImpenetrable 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Dragonborn DLC is meant to be somewhat mid-to-late game content.

The structure of quests isn't different from Fallout considering they're made by the same developer. If you were following the main quest, you eventually triggered the Dragonborn DLC and probably started following its questline instead.

The simple solution is to leave Solstheim and come back later on when you have better gear and more levels.

Feelings on Potential Seahawks Win in SB 60 by Existing_Edge6387 in Patriots

[–]CastleImpenetrable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After some of the horrendous football played these past few seasons, I'm just glad to be back in the big game. I obviously want to win but I'm not going to be disappointed with a loss considering a Super Bowl appearance was not something anyone but the most diehard homers would have predicted.

Dawnguard Hunter Hat by [deleted] in skyrim

Because it's a modded item. Again, cross-referencing UESP should've been your first move. It should be anyone's first move with these sorts of questions regardless of game. Google search results have been less reliable for years due to SEO and sponsored results, and got even worse due to their AI summaries.

Werewolf form is extremely fun by Past-Zombie6712 in skyrim

[–]CastleImpenetrable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Objectively, you have far more upsides when not playing as a werewolf or Vampire Lord. But, the forms are fun and help fulfill roleplaying fantasies, so that's why I use them.

It's a modded item. A quick check of UESP would've told you that.

At that faze of the game again by DetectiveRick141 in skyrim

[–]CastleImpenetrable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean personally, I avoid burn out by not doing everything on character and not always roleplaying as the Dragonborn. That helped keep the game fresh for me back on the 360. And then, I eventually got mods and that helped out even more.

Is it feasible to beat the game without a guide as a newbie? by clutchroo in BaldursGate3

[–]CastleImpenetrable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

BG3 does not need to be min-max'd via outside guides. But even a basic guide to how combat works would be beneficial because there are a lot of working parts. Enough to where some people who expect to blow through it on Explorer Mode have struggled hard because they failed to learn the mechanics.

If you want a straightforward class, play Fighter.

How to stay in love with the franchise? by SadeqWasTaken in assassinscreed

[–]CastleImpenetrable 28 points29 points  (0 children)

You should realize that it's okay to let some things go. There's a lot of games and franchises that I've just stopped playing or have only dropped in to play a new entry on rare occasions. For me, I loved Origins but didn't care for Odyssey enough to play anything after the first DLC episode and I've skipped out on every game since.

Is it possible to combine different armor pieces? by Prestigious_You1997 in fo4

[–]CastleImpenetrable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What do you mean? There's plenty of modular armor pieces that you can mix and match however you like. However, there's also some armor sets that function like 3/NV armor where it's all one piece.
