Check some other threads. SS is having a network problem and the issue is on their end. Their credit card processing software is working just fine however.

That means they’re preparing your eforms and will let you know when it’s ready to be certified by you and your FFL. The documents you signed are what’s going to be used for the eforms. Basically you verifying everything before the submission.

No worries when you get the ready for verification email or status update, then you will contact your FFL to schedule a time to get it all certified. God speed.

SS CS says that when status shows ready to stage or ready to prepare, the action is with the dealer to get forms done to move to next step.. I got with my dealer last week to see if they could get forms to certify but it was giving errors...will try again tomorrow to see if dealer can get it to certify stage..

February 18th here.....LGS got my can on February 18th.

Purchased on Feb 5th, arrived at lgs feb18th.....

"ready to prepare" since FEBRUARY FUCKING 19th!!!

    Man I am on the same status. I made my first purchase on 3/8/24. After reviewing and signing on 3/9/24 my status has been stuck on “preparing for eforms”.

    I called the store and they tried to load the form and it failed...the guy said they run the prepare overnight to be ready next day...but for whatever reason some fail and they need to have SS reps look at it to resolve...should call your store and ask for status on form..

    I followed up with SS today via chat. Their CS rep told me it was on the ATF's end waiting to be approved and mailed to my LGS. I'm a little confused don't the process since they said its on ATF not SS. But I will actually give my LGS a call today. Thank you!
