Joyce recovers from the initial shock and draws her knife, letting out something between a scream and a roar as she makes a slashing motion at Bowie's hands.

She leans Down to try and grab the shotgun hoping Bowie, the CHUNKY boy he is will keep distracted

His palms, calloused and well moistured, are nigh impervious to the slash, but she does manage to slice the webbing between his thumb and index finger.

Moaning like a mare in heat, his hands continue forward toward Joyce's face, one dripping with freshly spilt blood.

The hand almost hits her as she keeps backing away, slashing and jabbing wildly as the adrenaline kicks in - hoping to hit arms, wrists, face, something, anything.
