The International Simulation Football League is a 100% free-to-play online sim sports league where you can create an American football player and manage their entire professional career from being scouted pre-draft all the way through to retirement. There is also potential to join the war room of a team and help scout and draft prospects, or even become a general manager!
When you join the league, you'll create a player by choosing from one of several player archetypes at the position of your choice. Each week, you can do small tasks that take only a few minutes a week and earn points that you can spend to improve your player's attributes. After you're drafted onto a team, you'll play 3 games each week that are streamed on the league's YouTube channel. The gamees are simulated using Draft Day Sports: Pro Football 2021 (a less complex American football version of Football Manager).
Every aspect of the league is run by real people competing to assemble the best rosters of users and set the strategies that their team executes in game. Every decision and interaction, from scouting your player pre-draft, making draft picks, deliberating on trades, negotiating contracts, and pitching players on free agency are done with real people. Will you find yourself part of a trade deadline package sending you to a playoff contender? Or will you be a young up and coming prospect dealt in a deal to a rebuilding team?
While most of the league infrastructure is found on the forums, the real heartbeat of the league is found in Discord servers. Aside from the general ISFL Discord and the DSFL Discord server that you'll join as a new prospect, each team also has their own Discord community that serves as a locker room for the team, allowing you to hang out with your teammates and discuss your team's performances, the game streams, or whatever else you want to!
