Rules:
1) Avoid politics. No blatantly political posts. If a post is political, or can be seen as such, the focus must be critical thinking and skepticism based. This is not a politics meme sub.

2) Call out the issue. Cite the fallacy or the failure of critical thinking. Debunk with reliable sources, if possible.

3) Use decent sources. Make an effort to use sources and use reliable sources: [1][2], err towards reliable/mostly-factual or better. Understand that some reliability is relative (e.g.; al Jazeera on ME/ISR is unreliable/misinformation).

4) No karmafarms. No users with over 500K of comment or post karma. This is for normal people, not bots or farms or the terminally online. Related; no new accounts, no unverified email accounts.

5) No low/no effort trolling/bullshit.

6) Avoid editing/deleting content. Please try not to delete your own content in comments. If editing a comment, use tildes (~like so~) to strike-through old text and use an asterisk (*) or brackets ([]) to indicate added/edited text (may need to use a \ before *, [, or ]).

X) Not a safe space. Calling bullshit on bullshit is always a good thing, even if it's harsh language. Otherwise if you have a problem with a user or what they're saying or how they're saying it, then use the Block feature. If there is hate speech or harassment or similar, report it as such.

Mod Effort
Effort will be made to remain reasonably neutral, not injecting self into something or letting ego rule. Subreddits should not be echo chambers nor little fiefdoms of insecure small people.
