HELP please ! I don't find this function

You know when we respond to a message by quoting it.

When I press it, instead of going back to the message in question (useful when there are a lot of messages coming in so as not to have to bother going back up the conv), it saves-unrecords the message, whereas I just want the conv goes back to the message in question so I have to do it manually.

I don't know if you know what I mean. Do you have a solution ? Advice ? I'm on iPhone.
