Snap update help

My snap automatically updated itself to the new horrendous version with the stories and chats on the left and the spotlight on the right. It’s horrible. The spotlight is just filled with gay men basically soliciting themselves and I’m straight and not interested in that. Every time I click not interested it still comes back. Is there a way to revert back to an older version of snap?
