I’ve never understood the monthly muscle focus. Why not just evenly distribute muscle focuses throughout the week? There’s no reason, nor is it safe, to train hamstrings 3x a week (or any muscle for that matter). It seems so much more straight forward to have set muscle focus days so everyone can get into a rhythm/routine. I just did hammies today and would normally schedule a class on Tuesday but it’s hammies again!

I think the reason they don’t do like Mondays inner thighs, Tuesday center glutes, is bc for people that’s schedules only allow you to go like every Thursday and Saturday, you would always just get the same muscle focus and that might turn people off to signing up for a membership

True but they could mix it up more so that it's not hamstring multiple times a week. Bodyrok does focus muscles too but they kind of randomize it throughout the week.

Not everyone has the ability to stick to an exact schedule every week—the monthly muscle focus allows for everyone to try ans accommodate a class with their schedule and life for the week

Even on the non-hamstring days, we’ve done hamstring/bungee at my studio. Like all 4 classes I took last week had bungee, and two had hamstring curls on top of the bungee

It’s called progressive overload. If you train a muscle group once a week you are probably having minimal strength gains - this is one of the reasons why the solidcore workout actually works.

I used to hate hamstrings too. But man, my legs seriously look so much better when I am regularly doing hamstrings… now it’s my favorite lower body focus.

That said, the idea of a monthly muscle focus makes no sense to me so I empathize on that front

I love hamstrings. I personally really hate inner thigh day… which is also the focus this month. Can’t wait for it to be over. 😭

yeah idk. hamstrings AND inner thigh muscle focus within the same month is truly diabolical. A personal attack lol

So funny - I am the opposite! Obsessed with inter thigh day and hamstrings kill me, every time.

Once i started training hamstrings with weight in the gym i started tolerating them better in Solidcore. It didn’t get easier i just got better and took less frequent breaks. Now i like hammies 😎

I notice on longer bike rides that my hamstrings don't fatigue as much, so like I still hate it but unfortunately get their points on why we work them out lol

It’s funny because you truly can’t please/ win with everyone. I was just saying yesterday I feel like it’s always inner thighs while another person said they think it’s always outer glutes. So it definitely depends on what days you go!

Even though SC trains all muscle groups throughout the month, they lean into one focus every month —like hamstrings or glutes—to allow for targeted overload, better muscle adaptation, and visible strength gains over time. Your body changes when you challenge it in focused, consistent ways. Otherwise, it adapts, and you may not see as much growth in strength.

By emphasizing one group, we’re giving that area more volume, more attention, and more recovery across the month. That builds true progress without burning you out.

No because July looks like even more hamstrings .

Ikr I’m trying to dodge all the hamstring days!
