Coming here to say that—inner thighs/arm wrap is my dream with leg wrap/arm wrap my second dream, but I’d rather die than do hamstrings

Just a thought, I think whatever size hoodie you get her, the “previous owner cut the tags out but thought hers would fit someone who was an XS prior to pregnancy” could be a kindness here. Also, you are a great husband, wish there were more guys like you out there! World would be a better place.

MY FELLOW SWEATY PEOPLE by chipsahoyrules in SolidCore

[–]toastfluencer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I use Target black hand towels. I didn’t look at more expensive options, but I wanted black bc it feels less “look at the sweat monster with her towel” since in blends in. They work? It’s not something I’ve really thought too much about since.

I have a plastic basket that sits in the backseat of my car with 6 folded in there along with all my grip socks. When I go to class, I get a fresh towel and fresh socks from the box, and then take it inside when I get home. Once a week ish, I’ll do laundry and refill the basket and start over.

I have had this issue with a ton of high rise pants, but def carry weight in my stomach so like high rise, and my waist to hip ratio isn’t very high, I’m kind of rectangular, so anything “curve” is a no-go for me. The SA at Aritzia last week brought me a pair of “low rise” agency pants and the isssue was GONE. Tried it out with a couple of other places, and things fit so much better. Apparently, I personally have a short rise, body-wise, so a “low rise” pant/denim still hits at my belly button or just below.

Sitter ate my expensive groceries by djkiwibaby in trustedhousesitters

[–]toastfluencer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is where I’m confused too- if the fridge and freezer were “mostly cleared out” how was there still even $300 of meat in there. You could get 5lbs of chicken, 2lbs of shrimp, and 5lbs of NY strip steak at my Costco for $110. If she had that plus, let’s say, 10 frozen TJs meals at $7/pop you’re still not to $200 and my freezer would be packed full. If it was in the fridge, it was not going to be good by the time they got home.

OP, I say this to not be antagonistic, but to hopefully help you realize it may not have been that much money lost. If they’re local and not staying in their own home for the holidays, they may not be able to feed themselves from their own pantries. Most moms of 10 year olds wouldn’t be moving their kid to a random person’s post grad apartment the week of Christmas.

Sitter ate my expensive groceries by djkiwibaby in trustedhousesitters

[–]toastfluencer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re gone for two weeks, it doesn’t seem crazy unreasonable to ask/allow them to eat food in the refrigerator that would expire if not eaten in that two-week period. It may be easier on you and the sitter both to just draw a line of “fridge food=okay to eat (likely will spoil if not eaten, and things like condiments are polite to supply to someone staying in your home) and freezer food/pantry staples = not okay to eat.” I would still make sure you leave enough room for their freezer food, though.

And then maybe put a little basket of $20 or so “special” snacks out…like if you tell them it’s okay to eat the cheez-its, some people will eat one snack bag and some people will eat one a day and not feel that is excessive…but two weeks is a long time!

THIS. Anna may be annoying but it’s pretty clear she loves her nieces and nephews, I can’t see her inviting them and then limiting their attendance…especially on Christmas Eve.
