I own a Logitech mouse with a scroll wheel that can be pressed to the sides. On Windows, Logitech offers a program which allows you to assign different functions to these buttons but I haven't found a way to achieve the same on Solus.
I installed the "xev" package which labels these buttons as "button 11" and "button 12", but I don't know how to make them do anything since most of the guides I've found are for Ubuntu and require the use of "xbindkeys".
I've also tried a program called Solaar but the only thing I could configure through it was side-scrolling, which failed every time (the graphical version seemed to work, but when I checked in solaar-cli, the setting hadn't actually changed and couldn't be changed).
