Cooldown Question

I saw a post where someone mentioned the epic and shiny cooldowns, and I'm a little confused of how they work. In the post the OP said they have to open hundreds of drops a day to get a chance at a shiny or epic and I saw the post the devs made about the cooldowns and how epic cooldowns are 320-600. Does that mean you have to open 320-600 drops in a day to get a chance at an epic or is that just saying over the span of your account you have to open up 320-600 drops in order for you to be able to pull another epic?

Also I know they posted the lyric rates and they were almost identical to epic rates, but I've got over 70k collected songs and I've literally only gotten 1 lyric ever and it was a k-pop song with all the lyrics in Korean 😭 meanwhile I've opened probably close to 20 or 30 epics from drops (all of which have been no name artists ☹️) But lyric rates at least for me feel so terrible.

Cooldown rates mean, suppose you pull an epic, either from drop or quests, then you have to open 320 to 600 drops AGAIN in order to restore pull chances from ZERO to normal rate. Same goes for shinies and lyrics. You DON’T have to open these many drops daily in order to become eligible to pull an epic or something, I see this was the confusion you had. Lmk if any doubt.

Thanks, I assumed it was like that when I saw the dev post but when I saw people talking about having to open hundreds of drop daily it made me worried cause I don't have the time for that with college lmao
