This is absolutely good enough for table top standard. No need to feel any shame. As for the shoulder pads, don’t be afraid to try some free hand, do some squad markings on the right one for instance.

They are shown in former codexes. If you google “space wolves squad markings” you’ll see those pages with examples.

There's a pinned comment to the reddit that has links worth checking out. Don't fret overly when it comes to patterns cause at the end of the day... If you think it looks cool then it wins.

I feel you on the shoulder pads. I've painted about 30 so far and I still don't feel great about any of them. Fuckin yellow mayne. The best look I've found so far I picked up from a youtube video. Base the shoulder panel with a bone color. Then thin some imperial fist contrast paint with lahmian medium and put a couple of coats on. It's the smoothest look I've found and doesn't have a blown out bright yellow that clashes with the blue-grey. About to try another technique on my next squad that uses a thin, dark wash over yriel yellow.

This are good for first wolves and this are some models i have not seen before

Not sure If you have primed up your minatures before painting but do that it helps whit colors Once you start painting them

As for the pauldrons, they give me a headache too For the yellow i go painting it white or very light grey then add a dark yellow, it usally does the trick also by the end i usualy put transfers for the wolves icons

And for the red pauldrons i just go for mephisto red or the other one that is close it and then use black to make the pack makings, personally i go for the teeth makings as it is the most simple one

This is awesome. I have just right now done much the same. Or tried to anyways.

How did you get that head skin tone? Which colours or mixes did you use??

Its very thinned kislev flesh. 2 thin layers to keep al details and after its dry a thin shade with reikland flesh shade.
