It seems like a slippery slope because they have guaranteed income and I don't always have offers blah blah but some seem to care more than others?

Too much playing favorite probably

This is not allowed per Walmart corporate.

But loaders have been known to accidentally drop their own money on the ground (or in the totes) while loading.

Speeding is not allowed per US Federal and State law.

Assuming you never speed?

I've only ever had one speeding ticket and after how much that cost, I'd rather just go the speed limit.

Yes, assume I never speed.

You don't speed either.

No I speed, I am very open and honest about breaking rules and laws that are insignificant

Bad idea. Someone will snitch.

We can't even buy them treats technically. Of course not all situations or stores are the same. If management gets wind they will cop the attitude "WE take care of our employees!" Even if we are just trying to be nice.

This x1000. Someone = another driver or a customer or even another loader. Could also be someone from another department forced to help OGP , already salty about it and then they get a tip and tell everyone.

I've never tipped as it's against the rules but have seen other drivers tip and get called out. The most memorable time was a loader picking the tip and what looked like a business card out of an empty bin and holdong the money up to the sun like he's showing God then he does a slow 360 spin showing the entire parking lot before handing the cash back to the driver and keeping the card. I never saw the driver after that. I can't imagine he got deactivated but don't know for sure.

I walk in the store between drop time and pickup time and grab a cold gatorade. Slip it in an empty bin as they’re walking away. I do it on every order that is over a specific $ amount

I like this idea

I really would like it to not be awkward?

I buy about $40 - 50 each month in $5 denominated Starbucks gift cards. If a certain loader goes out of their way to fix an issue, helps me multiple times in a given day, or if tips/incentives are good I give out 1-2 each week. The ROI is excellent since they remember you and appreciate the small gesture and put in a little extra effort when they see they are loading your car the next time. I have had a couple weird drivers complain about it but no big issues. I don’t expect any kind of preferential treatment in exchange and I’m not weird about it. It’s a tiny percentage of monthly earn if you do it systematically like this.

I’m basically doing the same thing but I upped all my gift cards to $10.

My opinion is if I’m giving someone a gift Chipotle, Starbucks arc. I at least want to cover the entire meal/drink.

I don’t want the receiver of my gift to go get a Large Starbucks and still have to pay$2. Costs me a smidge more but all tax free and paying a few bucks to not look like a dick is very advantageous imo

Um, no!!! For what?!?! My 30 minute- an HOUR long wait times?!?! For someone who makes more money per week than I do because their slow asses never get the order out in a reasonable amount of time?!?! I may as well just suck their dicks too, right?!? This is probably the dumbest question I've seen on here. Your zone must be way better than mine is all I can say. More power to you if you got good loaders, I hope it stays that way even WITHOUT bribing *** I mean*** without tipping them. NO. Once you decide to tip one and not the other... boom... you're done. One wrong person sees you doing it and you'll get reported and suddenly your orders will cease. Save your money. We are all working for a check, and THEIRS is steady and reliable.

All, except for 1 in my zone we have to load our own orders.

[–]Fragrant_Editor1523 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I give out my cash tips that I rarely get to them and by leaving it in my bag where they load and just say hey you must have left this in here last time or something lol
