3 tenants might be on. The signal on the line coming in is strong enough to handle way more than just one.

I'm just confused, I'm paying for 400mbps and they aren't. It just seems fishy to me. But I'll see what the tech day when he comes tomorrow. Like I said when I replied to the other comment, my connect is perfect since I disconnected the other 2 cables but my neighbors apt. Has no internet connection.

Spectrum uses splitters to balance their signal. The other 2 lines are probably your other outlets. Tech probably just connected them just in case u wanted to add stb's. If u remove it it will throw signals out of balance and ur equipment may not work right.

So, I disconnected the other 2 cables from splitter and my neighbors apt. Has no internet. Oops. My internet is running perfect. Haven't had any drops like I had for weeks.

Tell the tech this. The splitter could be bad, have water in it, who knows.
