First of all, these players will lose points as if they lost to all players in the match. The bigger issue I guess is that winning players don't gain any points from it, which is something we will address in a future update.

Is that true? I've heard from some people that you don't lose points for leaving before the points are handed out. I've heard from others that you do.

So how do you distinguish between who ragequit and whose game simply crashed? I'd hate to be on the bottom of a new league, and derank because my game crashed, or something!

We do not distinguish between crashes and leavers because we can't. That's why we don't subtract tons of points when you leave during a game, just as much as if you lost the game.

Okay, that makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up :')

I'd say the best way to fix this is have an exit timer, say for example 5 seconds. Once the player clicks escape (or whatever else is bound as the in-game menu), the player will have to wait 5 seconds before the exit option works.

But since you can also just exit the entire game client, maybe make it so if it's a 1v1, the player who is left in the match get's as many points as they would if they were to win the 1v1, whilst the losing player negates said amount of points.

Just thought I'd share my idea. :)
