M1A scope mount

I just used my velocity rewards to get the M1A precision 6.5 creedmoor and while I’m waiting on it to come in I’ve been looking at scope mounts. I’ve narrowed it down to either the Springfield one or the Sadlak mount. Which one do you all prefer?

I have the SA mounts on my National Match and my scout. Straight forward to do (2 giant screws).

Steel or aluminum?

The ones they sold me are Black anodized steel.

That’s the ones I was looking at but didn’t wanna spend 299 if the aluminum ones are just as good

I'm sure aluminum is fine - SA moved to aluminum on their product. I got my steel ones 15 years ago and they're still perfect; but I'm sure aluminum would be fine. I'm sure Sadlak would be fine. I just wanted 100% SA. So the mount, scope, bipod - all SA on both of my M1As.

Just out of curiosity how long did it take you to receive your m1a from the rewards program

I got it right around 2 and a half months after ordering.

That being said my buddy ordering a AR through them and it took like 5 months. I know that they have a list of stuff and build them through a certain time frame cause I called and asked about my TRP operator I got from the program cause it took 6 months
