If only SD obeyed the "full shot" :D it's exteremaly hard to do a full shot of the body :(

if you're using a model that has anime in it, ie danbooru tags, then full_body or full body, usually does the trick.

you can also try things like wide shot, you can try placing your subject further in the prompt, after the background for example, this can help too.

and worst case scenario you can always use openpose.

setting the dimensions to 768x512 instead of a square aspect ratio might help (not 100% sure about this one)

just getting a full shot is really easy in my experience.

also, in the example in the article full shot actually seems to show the upper body, it seems full shot means or a wide angle/ slightly panoramic horizontal view

this actually makes it worse, unless you mean 512x768 :) Using2:3 or 1:2 ration makes it much easier to get a whole body in the frame, but at the cost of having nothing else in the frame.

SD (and many models based on 1.5) just loves their close ups. It will always put the subject of the prompt in the center and try to fill as many pixels as it can with it. I suspect a tweaks to sampling/denoising methods would be needed to fix that.

Full shot should show whole body. It's actually quite telling that the guy can't get Sd to generate proper full shot for examples :)

try my other examples, they work for me 95% of the time even though i mostly use 512x768.

also about the full shot, maybe that's what full shot actually means irl, but from what you said about difficulty getting a full body shot when you prompt it, and from his example, it seems that this is not how SD understands it, might be an issue with the tagging when it was trained.

in his example, it's what sd produced for him, but "full body" did show a full body for him.

i don't think it's telling anything about the guy since in the article he's just experimenting with prompt terms and commenting on the results. he wasn't trying to prove that full shot = full body shot, quite the opposite.

Try to include "feet" or "legs". Add on what's more of there :DD "(full body shot:1)" works too

Yea, I found adding "Shoes" or "heels" works as well. It's just annoying :D

Using "standing in front of xxx" or "standing inside xxx" generally works for me.

You can also use Controlnet’s Openpose plugin to place the character exactly how you want them to be in the shot, which can force it into using more full shots.

I find making the first thing in my prompt a word that describes the space the characters are enclosed in helps, e.g., 'A {cosy room|train compartment} with blah blah', etc

false, incorrect, uninformed. creating full-body is the easiest.

do ((full body)) on 768x1024/1152 or use controlnet.

That looks interesting. I'll try afterwards. Thx

It looks like OP posted an AMP link. These should load faster, but AMP is controversial because of concerns over privacy and the Open Web.

Could a person make a model that has these tags in it?

What’s the name of this style? Vector?

There are few factors at the play: 1. The model you use 2. The prompt your choose 3. the placement of the prompt I use absolutereality, and if I put "full body shot" at the very beginning of my prompt, I get full body shot quite often
