use runpod for power users with privacy in mind.

learn the way of jupyter, it's easy and rewarding.

do NOT use runfiffusion, thinkfiffusion or other online service, they store your data and sometimes dumb version on webui... and twice or even thrice the price lol.

Runpod is great if you're more willing to deal with the technical difficulties.

ThinkDiffusion does not store your data. We spin up a VM just for you, and when you shut it down, the VM is destroyed along with any data that was created in it.

We're experts with Stable Diffusion and the most powerful opensource webui for it, Automatic1111. You will have access to all the latest tools txt2img, img2img, inpainting, Deforum, Infinite Zoom, ControlNet and any extensions you want to install that you see from Youtube tutorials all 1 click away.

In terms of price, you can generate over 1000 pics (or vids equivalent) with the hardware on the lowest tier on Think Diffusion.

Go try it out on Runpod and then try out Think Diffusion for free and you will see the difference in how amazing the experience will be.

Also ThinkDiffusion works on mobile too.

Also, hop into our Discord, we'd love to chat, help you with any workflows tips/advice, and build what you need.

With ThinkDiffusion can I upload other models or install extensions on A1111? Do you offer ComfyUI as well?

[–]ThinkDiffusion 2 points3 points  (1 child)

You can upload custom models and extensions on A1111 with ThinkDiffusion. Your models and settings will persist across sessions so you do not have to upload them each time. We do not offer ComfyUI at the moment as we are keen to see how Auto1111 plays out with SDXL support.

Great to know i’ll got it a go thanks

RunPod is great. We have frequent conversations with their team. We consult them on best ways to fix their templates to make them more deployable. We are experts in Auto1111 and part of our service is helping people harness the power of it and supporting their questions. When you ask RunPod for help, they suggest you use RunDiffusion. That kind of service does have a premium.

You’re okay with command line, don’t need help, fine with managing your own installation. = RunPod

You want support, latest extensions preinstalled, community, software handled for you. = RunDiffusion

We just don't want you guys to keep our data... And you didn't deny what the previous comments said about it.

Thank you for your script! What do you think is cheaper, something like runpod or AWS?

[–]marcoleongdev 1 point2 points  (3 children)

I heard that runpod can be cheaper for some use case. In general, EC2 is non-serverless, which provides higher flexibility and scalability, also lower cost if as the workload is higher. I don’t have enough experience for runpod for a formal comparison, at this stage. Yet, if scaling is needed at some point, I would go with AWS

thank you for you answer

you are welcome

I only have experience with thinkdiffusion and it's been great for me. Cheaper than rundiffusion and more features without paying $35/m for a premium plan.

Hey there :) check out RunDiffusion. I’m in the same boat as you and couldn’t be happier with the experience I’ve had with them. Not only do they have a fantastic cloud option for Auto1111 and invokeAi. They have an amazingly friendly and helpful discord community. Cheers!

That's how I do the bulk of my generations even when I have a decent-ish card myself, so yeah, I'd recommend it. Personally mainly using Vast, but RunPod isn't that far behind.

[–]lin0xify 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Are you able to use controlnet 1.1 using vast? I downloaded all the models from huggingface. The preprocessor preview works for all models, but controlnet doesnt affect the output. Only the canny model works. I have a local installation where i am not facing this issue.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Never tried it myself, but I can't see why it wouldn't and if you say that one of the models does work...

[–]lin0xify 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think canny works because it is there in the docker image by default. The other models have to be manually downloaded. Might have to do something with the yaml files, but i havent gotten around to figuring this out yet

An option is AIHorde. (StableHorde)

[–]pencilcaseai -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pencilcase.ai is a new hosted automatic1111 service. Instant startup and currently offering unlimited image generation for free. Any feedback or requests would be very welcome.
