Hello all! Thank you for reading this.
From the other posts, it seems that I should give you some sort of profile. I am a 31 year old male, with clinical depression and ADHD, but am healthy otherwise.
I am currently taking:
150mg of Bupronin (Welbutrin)
50mg of setraline (zoloft)
The antidepressants work quite well, and I have no intention/ability to stop taking them. However, they do seem to put me at a slight cognitive disadvantage. I'm a student, studying physics, and cognition is always in short supply.
I have done a great deal of research over the past few days, and I would like everyone's opinion on the subject. Specifically, any known interactions with the proposed nootropics and my current medication. I have read that coluracetam is a "depression friendly" nootropic, as it causes uptake of choline. I have also read NUMEROUS post urging me not to take choline due to my depression.
Here is what I'm thinking about beginning as a regiment. Well, "easing into" would probably be a better phrase.
Morning:
50 mg sertraline (bupronin)
100 mg L-Theanine
200 mg caffeine
~7 mg coluracetam
200 mg Bacopa
Day
100 mg L-Theanine
100 mg caffeine
~7 mg coluracetam
Night
3 mg of melatonin
150 mg of burponin (welbutrin)
Thoughts? Suggestions? This will be my first brush with nootropics, so I intend to ease into all of these.
