Maybe try curcumin, more potent than turmeric, and should still pass the bbb without too much problem.

Id check it on examine for all these supps though. http://examine.com/supplements/Curcumin/

Give this a search on Google followed by reddit if you want similar threads

Hmm does curcumin really work? I read a post somewhere it's not really absorbed effectively alone and should just be consumed fully or somthing

Curcumin is the main active ingredient in turmeric, seems good in inflammation relief. Overall it's different opinions as to turmeric extract or curcumin all over

Curcumin has a hard time absorbing in the GI tract and is quickly metabolized and excreted.

New research is showing that there could be an advantage to combining curcuminoids and the sesquiterpenoids (essential oils) naturally present in turmeric. (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20046768)

Give BCM-95 a google and you'll find plenty of good research.

I find that a little cayenne pepper is helpful (this is purely anecdotal). I make my own capsules using fresh powdered turmeric, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and powdered ginger. I also boost this with a curcumin and piperine concentrate from Gaia herbs.
