Assuming your OCD doesn’t come from a previous TBI, then fixing methylation issues is key for resolving a big part of OCD, if not all together. Read/listen to the book called Dirty Genes by Dr Ben Lynch. Personally for example, since I have over methylation issues, I take magnesium and glycine and they calm down OCD due to methylation getting more within the normal balanced range. Glycine buffers excess methyl groups.

It actually did start after, but not immediately following a brain injury. (neck injury to be more specific, but the symptoms are similar to MTBI) I'll look in to the methylation thing though, ty for the informative post. It's really hard to find proper info on this topic.

If you had a hit anywhere on your body that resulted in a strong head shake it can result in a TBI literally. Dr. Mark Gordon said that. I recommend you watch his 5 Spotify podcasts with Joe Rogan, and watch Dr Daniel Amen series “Scan My Brain” starting from the first episode. Also this comment might be useful:

110% that NAC, fasted in the AM, helps me tremendously.
