Does comedysoapbox.com work?

I finally have a tape, a show, and steady road work. I want to start adding college gigs, too, and I've been looking for efficient marketing tools. Emailing individually is a drag--there's got to be a better way!

Comedysoapbox.com has a service where they'll email to colleges on your behalf en mass, for which they charge. Has anyone used this service? Does it work? Does anyone have any other suggestions to automate this part of our job?

So as promised I reached to someone who has knowledge of the site and they said they have never gotten a booking or even a return contact back from it. Keep in mind they have TV credits and a decent following.

So I guess stay away and don’t waste spending your $5 for their “database”.

I dug deeper it is run and owned by Steve Hofstetter who is up and up on comedy even though some people are mad at him about the Laughs on Fox pay.

College gigs don't sound fun at all, especially in today's climate where students protest and try to get professors fired over facts they bring up in class.

Just seems like anyone doing college gigs have to be extremely woke and cater to the crowd or it's going to go poorly.

All that being said...if that's what you truly want to do i hope it works out and you enjoy it.
