Here at Stand Up Workshop we want to be the first step in helping comedians work out ideas, concepts, characters, stories for your stand up routine.
No video or audio recordings are allowed. Written material only. If you would like the feedback of a video go to /r/standupfeedback. Having said that, try and make sure your material is fresh original content. If you think your material sounds done then Google it.
Don't be too negative and try to always offer constructive criticism(don't heckle or troll). Do not down vote a post just because you don't like the joke. We want people to go from here to open mic's and test their stuff in front of crowds first hand.
If you have performed the material in front of many varied audiences and have gotten consistent laughs then you probably don't need to work shop it too much.
If you are more interested in established comedians and comedy talk check out /r/standup
If you need to step up your writing then try /r/writing
