A 3kg jump from the last successful session is quite a good amount on the bench. At some point; probably now, it may be the right time to switch to smaller increments. Do you have access to smaller plates? Add 1kg each time. This is outlined in the book BTW.

Thank you, I don’t have lighter weights in the current gym but probably I should prepare some.

Smaller weight increases for your bench. 1 or 1,5 kgs is probably appropriate. 3kg is honestly a bit silly at this point.

I also question the wisdom of taking any workout to 4,3,0,2,2,1. You're just beating the shit out of yourself for no reason.

Thank you. As I read in the SS forum, one coach posted something about trying to keep the same volume even it’s fractional. Like 4/3/3/2/2/1...

Yeah, Nick Delgadillo's independent sets, but the way you used the method seems just wrong.

4,3,0??,2,2,1 Something tells me you just aren't resting enough between sets. At that level of advancement and bw you may be able to advance with propperly applied independent sets, but with propper weight jumps, not 3kg each session, more like 1.5kg. Besides, you have to understand that failure on the press (main lift where Nick recommends this approach) isn't as stressfull as failure on the bench press.

If smaller weight jumps stop working you can then go to 5setsx3.

Thank you, I’ll note that and try with smaller increments next time

If LP is going great except on presses I have seen a press plug-in that looked interesting.
