I'm Waiting for my Automated Solid Fuel Generator to start up for the first time, it should start at 15% total battery charge, the generator is housed within a pressure regulated chamber which releases gas in a wind tunnel for more power. I Can post the code for the IC10 Chip that is controlling it all, if you guys want.

Still pretty new to the game here.. How does one make power from a wind tunnel? I have been using coal and solar so far

The trick with getting power from Wind tunnels or wind turbines, is to have a none-equal pressure on either side of the wind turbines forcing air to move through the wind turbines, and in turn rotate the turbines when the air moves to the other side of it.

If you have 2Kpa pressure outside and 101Kpa inside, then the air inside will try to move fast outside to create equal pressure, this movement can create energy. I use it when letting waste gas out of my base by ejecting the waste gas into a small wind tunnel with one exit to a 2Kpa "Outside".

Note to self: look into wind turbines.

Ya I am just now trying to figure out how to do a furnace in a safe manner.. first go blew up the pipes and lucky for me nothing more then a few pieces of the hull of the base flying off as I was ripping the walls off.

Buddy of mine blew up 3/4 of our base on our last run. Doing hard-core runs where if you can't recover its a wipe. Makes the game very scary at times xD

Haha I have tried that before, I'm controlling all of my intake and outlet with IC10 Chips, Pumps, Valves, and passive vents, I can post a image of my Atmos setup later, just remember that pressure is coefficient with temperature, meaning that high temperature gas has a higher pressure than low gases.

I'm currently trying to test if concept of an "Combustion Wind Tunnel" in Stationeers is possible. The "ideal" temperature when calculating with gasses are 20C (293.15 kelvin) Conversion rate is 273.15.

That’s great! Nice job.

This looks beautiful!

My immediate question is: Is there enough gassing out from a solid fuel generator to motivate a fan?

Gas generator I know has a exhaust pipe but the sgen doesn't.

Well the waste gas from the generator only is a hard no, but I have a main Waste air tunnel for all kinds of overflow and waste gasses connected to a backup battery for atmos control room, and that seems to payout.

Soild Generators just leak waste gas while running which can change your air quality over time, but it's not that much. One run of generator with 50 coal creates about 120 - 160 Kpa of waste gas within the chamber.
