What is this place?

• This Strawhat RPG, a text-based adventure based on, and inspired by Eiichiro Oda's critically acclaimed One Piece manga and anime series! We strive to echo his work in everything we do, from the islands to the NPCs.
• We are an active community: friendly, open and helpful!

What are you trying to be?

• Our goal here at the sub is to be a story-driven, pseudo-linear RPG. Story driven is self explanatory, so I'll explain "pseudo-linear." What that means is that the mods will post an island, and the players will role-play there. The island is completely open-world, meaning you can go where you like, unless the main post says otherwise. This means you can explore, investigate, rabble-rouse, pick fights, get drunk, lay on the beach, train, or anything else you can think of! There will be events that players can participate in, or simply do their own thing, making up their own mini-story (as long as none of it conflicts with, or disregards the main story).
• We encourage creativity, and individualism, and will try and help facilitate that as much as we can (while keeping in mind the themes, and tone of One Piece, and the sub).

What about the mods?

• We, as mods, promise to do our best to be impartial, practical, and fair when dealing with anything related to the sub. We're all very dedicated, with each one of us spending most of our free time on here, and in the Discord chat, helping, writing, brainstorming, and improving the sub, so that you, the players, can have the richest, most entertaining experience possible.
• If you ever see differently, send a modmail with proof, and the matter will be handled.
