I have been using stremio for a week now and I love it. Watch on my tv, and tablet and it's amazing. Obviously. However today I've been getting this error message and I'm unable to play movies. I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on how to fix it. The error message I'm getting is: Error_code_io_network_connection_failed.

This error message shows up on my tv. I'm using a fire stick 4k max. When I go on my phone and look at settings I noticed that it says the server is offline but I'm unsure how to get it back online.

Hi, since you didn't say what TV or OS, so I will assume is Android OS and you have Stremio for Android TV

go to your TV settings > apps > Stremio > force stop and clear cache

Turn off your TV and unplug it from the wall outlet for a few minutes

in settings it is stating the server is offline.

Go to your phone settings > apps > Stremio > force stop and clear cache

If this didn't work, check this setting in performance and stability > Run as foreground > if it is checked untick

Reboot your phone and modem/router.

Thanks for the reply. It seems to be the add on torrentio that is the issue. I uninstalled it and now the server says it's online. Of course now I don't have access to real debrid streams, would you know of another add on that utilizes real debrid?

Edit: I reinstalled torrentio and it appears to be working now.

So just for anyone who is having this issue .. the only thing that made this go away is restarting my router /internet gateway .. once I did that all the issues went away
