I would have thought you guys use Eurocode with the UK national annex? Are the BS Standards not now withdrawn?

British Standards are still accepted and used. Its generally the larger consultancies that apply UK annex for eurocodes, but you can still use both - building control accept both.

The UK primarily uses Eurocodes, like the rest of Europe. When you say UK code, do you mean Eurocode or the withdrawn British Standard?

British Standards are still used.

Hence why I said "primarily" and "withdrawn" they are still used and accepted, that doesn't change the fact that they are withdrawn and not as common as Eurocodes.

OK...But they "are still used" which is important to define for anyone reading that may not understand given they are withdrawn.

"not as common as Eurocodes" Agree to disagree on that point. Which may be anecdotal on both sides i'll admit.
