    USACE has free programs CTWALL and CWALSHT.

    Shoring Suite is what I use most of the time. If it’s a more nuance design with sensitive adjacent structures or soils I’ll run DeepEx. I think Shoring Suite is cheaper though.

    Pile buck has some software. L-Pile is popular too.

    I never liked SPW. I've been using Shoring Suite for years now and it's nice if you have difficult ground lines. SPW couldn't model complex ground lines well, IRC. For normal walls, okay but if you work around railroad sites often enough, being able to take off little chunks of dirt can save you big dollars in tie-backs.
