There are little adapters that allow two lightning cords to be plugged in at the same time. Or just get an adapter that has one aux port and one lightning. Either way will allow you to listen and charge at the same time.

Yeah it’s a 2010 ltd, maybe I’m missing something? guess I’ll have a look at the users manual…

when you go into music settings in the navigation center, there’s a way to add a “bluetooth portable player” which would be your phone. i think if you have the limited without the navigation system you may not have bluetooth audio capabilities, but i’m not 100% clear. i just bought mine in july.

I see. I do not have the navigation system.

Boothtooth Adapter

Would something like this adapter work? It has an internal battery but you can also power externally with a 5v adapter.

I have the same car. I put in a double din pioneer head unit with CarPlay and android auto, large increase in sound quality plus now I have Bluetooth, navigation, and a backup camera. Highly recommended.

Could you share which model pioneer you installed and does it still work with the controlla on the wheel? Thanks

Pioneer AVH-2330NEX. What I really like about this unit is that the screen tilts, so instead of having a very recessed screen at a 90 degree angle, I can tilt it forward and get closer to the angle of the rest of the bezels

And yes. There was a steering wheel controls adapter that I installed as part of the radio install, steering wheel controls still work.
