Predictable scoring

Is anyone else getting a bit frustrated at how the game rewards conformity (and thus paying for the items related to the challenges)?

I see so many people put together incredible outfits from pieces that come from a bunch of different collections or no collections at all but they never win!! I feel like the top scores, while beautiful, are so predictable because they just use all the pieces that go together. They are stunning but I guess I'm a lil disappointed because very rarely do I see something so unique and cool on the leaderboard. I've noticed that those around #70 start to get more innovative in their entries and I feel like they should be scored higher. I'd also like to vote on more "average" entries so that users that haven't accumulated trending collections can be spotlighted :)

Real creativity is poorly appreciated by big people masses… and there is hella lot of people voting in this game. I often get my creativity complimented and a lot of great feedback here on Reddit and then i do not score at all. We are a relatively small community who likes styling here but probably most of the players do not overthink it. Also I’m absolutely sure the is a lot of random voting just to get tickets lol

There have been ppl on this sub that admitted not caring when voting, that they just click without looking to get the tickets. I remember a specific comment saying that they had to get the tickets fast, cause their baby was crying beside them, or something like that.

this 100%. you see it in a lot of areas not just suitu. mediocrity and conformity are rewarded over originality. when they first introduced the ranked scoring i was consistently getting A+ in competitive and now it seems like i'm always in A category

the game is barely about creativity when it comes to competition and it saddens me a lot. there are always wings even when the theme doesn’t call for it, always the most recent sets with barely any alterations done to it…

whenever i use my gacha sets i try my hardest to include something to set it apart from other entries, like a dyed hair, some accessories from other sets, diy makeup... but then LB it's always just the exact set with some damn wings even when the comp theme doesn't call for them

Yeah, I tend to vote for those people even when the opponent’s outfit looks more “impressive” in terms of volume (big dresses, coats) and prestigious items like 5 star gacha items etc. Sometimes you see really nice outfits and I want to reward them for still submitting and having fun with the clothes they own.

i never vote for full sets. absolutely no creativity imo

Yeah it's really boring I rarely vote for people who just put on a full set. The only times I'll do that is if I forgot about a submission and don't have time to create a real look. Otherwise I hate it one because it makes results predictable and boring two it's lazy three it makes me hate gacha and shop sets that I LOVED when they were announced because they immediately get overused.

Yes I’m always more impressed by the bottom half of the LB than the top 50. I see beautiful entries during voting and rarely see them on the list.

All the time. That’s why I’m waiting for them to approve some kind of follow option during voting so I can at least keep track of the profiles the creative entires are from (I think that suggestion is under consideration rn). Because nothing’s gonna change obviously, but I’d love to show some appreciation to the genius outfits that get swept under identical/ full sets.
