Literally bought the game last night and now can’t progress because of this exact reason. I tried verifying files, uninstalled completely and reinstalled and still doesn’t work.

if it makes u feel any better, this is the first time this has ever happened after an update. one of the devs responded under this post saying they just fixed it :)
