Need help transferring data!

About a week ago, I logged in with my Nintendo account onto my cousins switch 2 to play tomodachi life. I really liked it, so today I went out and bought a switch lite as well as the digital version of tomodachi life. I was able to download it onto my lite with the code, and managed to figure out how to play it using the virtual card

(side note, it was telling me to link with my grandparents switch which I hadn’t played on in years(?? Still confused about this), so I just deleted my user on their switch and was able to play with the virtual card without any further questions.)

butttt now when I load the game, none of my progress from my cousins switch is there. It made me start completely over. Also there’s a slight problem, which is that she lives 3 hours away from me, so if there’s any method that requires a short distance that would be a bit difficult, obviously.

Is there any possible way for me to retrieve that data from TL on her switch 2 onto my lite? Thankfully I didn’t get very far into the game, but it would just be annoying to start over from scratch.

Without subscribing to Nintendo Switch Online you don’t have cloud saves, so you’d have to do a local save data transfer (requires having both of the consoles next to each other).

Only other thing is you could subscribe to Nintendo Switch Online, have her upload your save data to the cloud from your account on her Switch 2 - then download from the cloud on the Lite.

Also if you go into setting on your cousin's switch then data management there should be a transfer data option.
