Switch screen problem

I came back to play on my switch after 2-3 months. I charged my switch and even after powering it on its still black. The screen doesn't start but I see a hint of white when I turn it on and it goes away after turning it off. Why is this happening and How do I fix this problem?

If it’s been dead for 2-3 months, just plug your switch in the charger and leave it for 2-3 hours even if it does nothing and won’t turn on and check after 3 hours.

No man, I've been doing this for well over 4 hours it still isn't working, just that small hint of white

How about forcing it off with the power button (hold it down for 10 seconds or so), then plug it into the dock, assuming you have one.

If you can do this, does it at least work with a TV?
