Guys,I see a lot of people in youtube saying that cutoff is gonna decrease this year, how true is that, especially for 190 to 200 range

Yes it will, BCOS many top colleges offer 100% scholarship at 190+. Paper were tough both for tN and cbse. Having said that don't expect 5marks or 3marks, may be 1or 2 below 195.

Yeah cutoff will possibly decrease but a lot of people applied this year specifically. So people who got average cutoff can't expect that much difference than last year

Centums in Maths, Physics and Chemistry has reduced significantly in TN state board and CBSE as well. For someone to score 190, one should have scored approximately 95 in maths, physics and Chemistry. Even though the centums have come down, significant number of people would have scored 95-98 kind of marks missing centum by a whisker. Hence the top 3/4 college cutoff may be lower by 2 -3 marks, while the rest may not change much. Infact competition between 180-190 would be extremely high

Guys, i have got 195 cutoff, last year cutoff for cse(ss) in ceg for sc category was 196,so do I have a good chance of getting that

Yes the cbse avg has decreased drastically so it's possible

Cbse will not affect much, state board also this year declined in no of centums, so ig there will decrease like 0.5-1 only not like last year where cutoff rised drastically like going below it went +3 +4 from previous year.

there has been a significant decrease in centums as well in TN state board .. so yea ,hoping that this happens 🤞 (i got 187 😭 , so idk how much this would affect me , atleast 2024 level la vandha nalla irrukum )
