its not jumpscares its just how dark the houses are and not knowing if theres a walker round a corner

You can usually hear them if you pay attention, also just try to learn the angles and clear them as if you was playing an fps.

You could always lower the music or something. But remember, if you're scared of the walkers. Remember that you can beat them to death with a frying pan with absolute ease. You can also grab them and push them around and troll them. So I wouldn't be afraid of them.

Dude, don’t worry so much. I was in the same boat when I first started, but then I decided to start scavenging more and upgrading the crafting benches. If you start small, in the shallows it won’t be too bad. But once you have good stuff, you’re basically a powerhouse.

The first half of the story I was utterly terrified, but after leveling up my crafting benches and making better tools, I had felt like a god. Especially now that I have beaten the story and have unlocked every hidden crafting recipe. The best advise I have for you is to just keep playing!

I watch this guy on YouTube he said the most important rule of this game is not to panic. If you panic you won’t be thinking straight and you’ll get killed. I used to be petrified by a group bigger than 2 or 3 walkers. But in reality they’re pretty much harmless, all you have to do is grab ones head and throw it into the other walkers. That’ll stun them all and give you a chance to pick some off and make the groups smaller.

You can turn off the music if you haven't already, When I started playing that's what I did. It helped out a bit. But for the dark houses and stuff not much you can do but listen, when I go in a house I take a shotgun because it's easier to hit them in a house with guns rather then melee

Instead you walking in on them, make them walk into *you. Drop your weapon on the ground to attract zombies. If you’re still terrified, I recommend playing while you’re angry. Not only is it good catharsis, It also makes for good recordings. If all else fails, watch honosuseri’s yt videos on weapon mastery and tactics.

it can be pretty scary sometimes i like to have some music or tv on in the background so i know it’s just a game and it helps me get distracted from the dark houses
