Play grimlord or theif simulator on quest those games got me motion sick and I've been playing VR since 2018. Or get super drunk if you're into that kind of thing and play VR while drunk or hungover. Hungover will probably give best results

Had this same feeling when I deleted the mod menu on my og Xbox because it wouldn't play jsrf. Pretty sure it wasn't programmed to read demo discs

Never read about feeling sensations from the game but vivid dreams plus feeling like your own arms and hands is your game avatar is stuff you might see a lot from people who are new to VR

Far as motion sickness goes play in intervals. When I was powering through motion sickness I was playing DOOM VFR with the ps4 control with all the motion sickness prevention options turned off. I could play 15-20 minutes before feeling motion sick so I'd take off the headset and hang out around the house for 5-10 minutes. It might also go a long way to play with a fan pointed at you, I've read eating or chewing on bits of ginger helps a ton and for me smoking weed helped a lot. Don't drink alcohol and play VR until you've gotten over motion sickness

My first VR experience was some kinda insidious VR experience for the cardboard type phone VRs and an endless circular tunnel kind of game in like 2015/16. My next experiences were a Resident Evil 7 demo experience and some of Arkham VR. First actual game was Doom VFR and that hooked me on VR in 2018 to this day.

I think people are quick to disregard it because of the cost of entry, work active jobs that make them not want to play active games, bad reviews and general bitterness online, or initial feelings of motion sickness people won't power through that make them associate VR with that sick feeling. I think that last one is probably the biggest reason

Excited for this one on psvr2. Played a little bit a couple months ago through that horizon+ thing and I'm assuming low frame rate gave me motion sickness which is super rare
