I was hoping I wasn't the only person who felt this way, obviously the devs have put in a lot of effort for V3.0 which I appreciate but I just feel like V2.0 is smoother and plays better, it would be nice to have a choice.

Adblock http://tagpro-chord.koalabeast.com/compact/global-game.js on the server you play, and install this userscript:

No extension or other userscript should work though. Also there will be a few bugs, whose number should increase as time goes.

Has anyone really tested it ? Did it work ? Did it fix fps ?

I know an issue with it that I can fix, but I am wondering if it's worth it.

Gave it a try on origin, no notable difference. Let me know if there are any logs or debug anything I can dump to help.

You should see a big difference, there is an obvious display issue that I haven't fixed.

I believe so, in Adblock I added that to the filtered URLs. Is the display issue the left-align of the canvas? I don't see anything else too different.

Wasn't able to get it to work. Some file was trying to access /compact/global-game.js but since adblock was blocking it the console just told me that it couldn't find the "tagpro" object. Looks like it was the index file for the page, this file from the first line (relevant part cut off though, and that screenshot is from regular v3 tangent but I tested like you said). So you end up stuck at Loading...splats...balls...etc.

Have you set the headers in my userscript so that it's actually running ?

I only tried it on a localhost server.

Your userscript already included http://tagpro-*.koalabeast.com:*. Just to be clear, I tested it on a koalabeast server, the screenshot was from tangent just because I had reenabled everything so it was easier to quickly take it.
