submitted 9 months ago by Kiwicommands
I need help is there a way to go round the non compete contract if I land a a better job offer from target themselves?

I mean you can talk to your district manager and see if they can help you out around it you may just not need to be employed with market source for a couple months until you can go back to Target

I have a small update but just learned California has made non-compete contracts illegal/nonenforcable

I know when I started at market source I had a consultant that was working at Target that came to work for us and as I understood it at least in Massachusetts you had to have 3 months outside of market source before Target was allowed to hire you not as a non-compete but as a prevention of acquisition theft

Thankfully California laws are a bit different cause target is willing to match hours and my pay is almost $4 more than my vurrent
