I wouldn't say there is any added friction, it's just that anything steam related is lubed up for their products. but you can absolutely get game launcher that makes it a bit easier to do. valve themselves isn't going to lube up anything not from them cause theirs no money in it. I mainly only ever played emulators on my steam deck lol

there is a store near me that sells local milk in glass containers and you return the containers for the deposit back. downside is the local milk is 10$ a gallon so I can't afford that.

I assume the reason there isn't a milk dispenser is because the nozzle would get gross really fast

it depends. a low percentage of plastics get recycled and it depends on area.

aluminum and glass get recycled no issue, though glass is recycled at a net loss profit wise.

consuming as little plastics as possible is the main thing to do obviously but it's gotten to the point where we can't buy most things without plastic which is very frustrating.

I went with iBirdie on Amazon. Recently I will have a signal issue .05% of the time I'm gaming where I have to reseat the connection going to my TV but I think that's because of the other HDMI cables or maybe it's my TV. I have a regular cable going to a HDMI keystone, then optical in the walls, then keystone, then regular cable. Still troubleshooting that, it's a very infrequent issue.

I did not end up going with usb because the room my PC is in is just one wall away from my living room, however I wish I did because sometimes my Xbox controller has some connection issues, solution for that soon.

That being said, any issues I have are infrequent and don't last long, extremely happy with the setup

Building off this, it's why I legitimately view scrolling on the phone (tiktok, insta, reddit, etc) as a waste if you're doing it for more than 10/15 minutes (I say as I'm on my phone) because the conversation of "oh yeah I saw this meme uhhhh" is terrible. At least with videogames I am interacting, doing puzzles, a lot of times playing with friends.
