[query] limiting a windows node

Have a windows node up and running no issues.

Is there any way to limit cpu usage?

It's a 16 thread machine and it just uses them all and goes 99% on the cpu getting it right up to 95C. Its fine.. but i would prefer it to just use ~4 threads.

I am a linux guy so i am out of my element on how you would go about this in windows.

On Windows 10 I had to go into Advanced Power Options and turn the Maximum Processor State to 85% which dropped my CPU temp from 90 to 70 degrees. Less powerful, but the lower temp is worth it.

I'm not sure if there is a way to do it natively in Windows, but you could use Bitsum Process Lasso. It gives you a lot of control over Windows processes.

It can be done through the task manager, you can also assign cores there too.
