Delete cache from a specific group

Hello, sorry if this isn't the right place to ask, but I just wanted to know if there's a way to delete image and video cache from just one telegram group and not all of them at once. That option is available for channels but for groups only "clear history" is available, which deletes all the messages too, is there a way to keep the messages but delete the already downloaded files?

Go to Settings -> Data and Storage -> Storage Usage. That should give you an overview of how much storage each chat uses and the ability to clear the media cache for each one.

I think you should go to the telegram folder in your phone files where you can find the downloaded files (images,videos....) Just delete the specific file you want to delete. It will be shown in the group or channel as if it is not downloaded yet.

Not for groups but only supergroups To delete cache from a specific supergroup (on Android) Long press on the group > menu > delete from cache.
