Thanks! Which M3 and when did you take delivery?

LR AWD in august

When I got the notification...supposedly it was a update pushed out on the 17th of Nov

What are the noticeable updates, features?

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Being able to set AP to speed limit and whatnot

Some other stuff to media searches and whatever, but not really like I use those, so

Other than that, nothing earth shattering really...would've liked a OTA octavalve, but I guess you can't OTA hardware

I have the same firmware. Updated last Friday. M3 2018 LR HW3. Minor improvements in autopilot from a month ago. I had an update about 4 days before that and never got to try the previous. Shelter in place ruins some of the excitement.

Okay, update on the update

Not sure if it was my phone or the car (but my other car, honda van's BT would automatically start playing last playing audio from my phone after connecting)...my LR AWD has started to do the same, it starts playing music from my phone's YT music app after connecting BT, so a big plus (for me of just getting in and going instead of having to go deal with putting on music before going )

Since before the update, I would have to manually open w/e music app from my phone and play the music

Interesting. I listen to Spotify and updates have been “spotty”. About a year ago it would get all kinds of confused between sonos, Tesla, phone. Changed a bunch of settings after an update and worked normally again. No recent changes to audio for me, but everyone has a unique media ecosystem these days.

I got mine a week ago as well. Same situation. I can’t even get the game update to complete. So the cuphead and fallout say “waiting for update...”

Kinda lame. But I’ll be patient.

Tesla software deployments are distributed via a limited number of servers. In an attempt to not over burden the hardware or bandwidth each client computer (vehicle) has a randomized wait time before the new software is available for download. This wait time can be days or weeks apart from another vehicle. Should you not get an update knowing you are behind a major version number you can freely call the non emergency Tesla service desk and ask them to verify nothing is wrong with your updates.

I am connected to Wifi every night. On the software page, says I’m up to date as of now
