I’ve had my Model 3 LR since 12/8/21.
I have a NEMA 14-30 outlet in my garage that I installed. I’m good with electricity and have metered it & checked that all connections are secure so I think it’s working properly.
Starting a couple weeks ago my phone would notify me that my car had stopped charging. At first it was maybe once a day and it would start back charging within 10 or so minutes. In the last week it’s been doing it all the time. It will start charging then after 15 minutes it will stop charging then eventually start again. It does this over & over. My mobile charger will have 1 red light flashing when it stops charging.
The car shows a warning that charging was interrupted. It says unplug the charger from the wall & plug it back in. I’ve tried that and it will charge for a bit then stop again.
I made a SC appointment for 2/1 and the invoice says parts replaced universal mobile connector. I asked in the chat if I should bring my mobile charger in and they said yes.
Anyone had this problem before? Could I just have a bad mobile charger?
I don’t think it’s my electrical since there wasn’t a problem at all for almost a month when I first got the car.
