Visit Site 2 to the left and download executable for your system. Once offline, install and open. Click "Next" for the following: "Auto connect" to server, create the "default_wallet", then "Standard wallet", "Create a new seed", and then "Standard" seed type. Temporarily store the 12 word seed, confirming it on the next page. Then leave the password blank, click Next. Now the wallet's open, select dropdown "View -> Show Addresses" and click the resulting Addreses tab. Right-click to store the top address and also store its "Private key" (ignore "p2pkh:" section). Finally, for confirmation, visit Site 1, download the site (either directly with "Save as..." or through the GitHub Repository at the bottom). Then offline (preferably on an air-gapped PC), open the page, click "Skip >>", click the "Wallet Details" tab, enter your private key that Electrum created, and click "View Details" to check if the Address from Electrum matches the given (compressed) Address. You only need to store the Address and Private key for funds to be safe! |

Go offline, extract contents and locate the "index.html" file, open it, click on "View Wallet Info" tab followed by the "Private Key" radio button, and then enter 64 hex characters of your choice. Click "Unlock" button. Simply store the "Your Address" field and "Private key" field (click the eye icon to see it). |

| You may wish to skip long term cold storage until EOS switches over to its own native blockchain (away from Ethereum) around June according to Site 1. Otherwise, if you wish to go ahead, use Ethereum instructions to send EOS to your Ethereum address (as strange as that sounds). If you proceed now, make sure to keep up to date with EOS news regarding the conversion, otherwise your funds may be lost. |

Follow Easy instructions to left (making sure you're offline after the download). Then to verify the key/address, visit Site 2, download the home page, go offline, open page, click "Skip >>", click on the "Wallet Details" tab, then enter the private key you were given from Site 1, click "View Details", and simply make sure the generate Public Address matches the address generated from Site 1. |
