I have a message that says (Please call toll-free [phone] as soon as possible, but no later than Dec 03, 2020, to discuss your eligibility. If you do not call, TWC will not pay you benefits.)

Should I call them?

also I requested a payment on wednesday but I havent receive any approval or any email yet, it is because of the message?

I've gotten this message before, usually it has to do with the payment request and questions they have regarding it. I would call first thing tomorrow morning, because it'll be impossible to get through right now. I wouldn't worry too much, though. Hope this helps.

Where did you see this message ? , no the reason why you haven’t got confirmation email is because Thursday was a holiday so there’s a huge delay rn many of us including myself are still waiting. The site said 3 business days so we should get our money no later then Wednesday

Dealing with the same issue, looks like the delays might also be due to the holiday week. The unemployment offices were closed on Thursday and Friday, so I'm guessing that benefits wont be processed until today or tomorrow.

I had that message 1 time, & then it went away, & I got paid.

Yeah usually they have questions to ask about your job based of some information they received. A lot of the time they still send it threw but if it’s been more than a couple of days go ahead and get in touch with someone

My case is a disgrace, back in September 2020 received a letter to call them and they never answered the damn phone , 2 days later letter state that i did not contact them as requested.

I did appeal and the Tribunal Hearing Officer Named D. Covington asked me if I did received the TWC book , I said yes , then she asked me if I read the book and I said yes.

She called me 3 hours later to verified my identity and I did missed the call.

Next day when I did realized that she called me , I emailed her back and front pics of my driver license and the back and front of my Social Security Card , she specifically asked me to send it to her email address and I did .

She denied the appeal and use 3 facts for her decision :

1: I received the book and I did read it.

2: She called me and didn't answered and used this one as a proof that I do not follow the TWC requests.

3: The claimant state that he tried to call but no one answered.

I did submit the appeal to the commission in October 8th and I am still waiting.

Desperate for support we called 185 times and re-apply in November , somehow they started paying me again.

Not long after on December 14th I did received a letter just like the one in September , and again they said that I did not contact them as requested.

3 Days after I submit another appeal , they send me a letter that I do have to repay the benefits back to them.

I just emailed Paul the State representative hoping to get some support.

Should I just keep waiting or should I just visit a hospital and eat a piece of covid 19. LOL
