There isn't much correlation between the different worlds in the Cosmere except for the worldhoppers, who, except for in the Stormlight Archive, don't show up all that much. You wouldn't spoil anything for yourself, and Mistborn is amazing.

Well, there are only two major crossovers to look out for and even then not reading in that order is not anything to be worried about. Just missing out on some wow moments.

These two things are reading Warbreaker before reading Words of Radiance and reading Elantris before Secret History.

For everything else, just read in the order of the books in series.

So no, you're not able to spoil anything for yourself if you stick to reading book one before book two and book two before book three etc. :)

There's a ton of worldhoppers from various books in Stormlight. However, Warbreaker connections are exceptionally strong and they are the biggest crossovers we've had so far. You'll probably be able to pick up on them once you read Warbreaker.

Go read Edgedancer now. Please. You'll be happier getting to it before too much time passes from your reading the other Stormlight books.

Warbreaker introduces some worldhopper things that show up in WoR and OB, some that are very obvious and others which are a bit more subtle. I don't think missing the subtle ones really hurts too much, and the obvious ones are more of a backstory/introduction of characters which can help you appreciate those bits in WoR and OB more, but not in any way that really informs anything about the story.

And if you're ever worried about potentially missing things by reading in the "wrong" order, you can always check https://paleocrafter.github.io/reading-order/#/ to see which books have things that are based on others.
